How many ways can I use old Christmas cards?
Yesterday I showed you Project #1: Framing the select beauties!!
Earlier today it was Project #2: Christmas Card Gift Labels
This project was the result of wondering the aisles at the dollar store. I’d picked up some ribbon for a craft (which I don’t think will get done before Christmas:) and then decided to look for stocking stuffers for the kids. I saw the generic Rubiks cubes and this idea popped into my head.
Upcycled Christmas Card Project #3 : Decorated Rubiks Cube
This projects a bit putsy really. Even with the templates each individual square ended up needing to be trimmed a little. I’d make another one but only if I had a higher quality cube to start with. I like having Christmas decorations that are fun to engage with. For example, we have a snowglobe that involves trying to land a ball on the top of Santa’s bag. Unfortunately this cube doesn’t move so easily so actually playing with it won’t happen too much I’m guessing.
Oh well, still a cute decoration I think! How about you?
(Still) only 7 sleeps until Christmas!!
Blue Skies and Blessings,
Lindsey
