The Spiders Go Marching… Halloween Wreath

Nothing says procrastination like posting a Halloween decoration THE DAY BEFORE the holiday:)  I’ll blame it on Vegas (and daycare and my three kiddos!)

We recently bought three new winter jackets that came in a HUGE orange plastic bag.  Since its the orange time of the year, why not attempt one last upcycled project, right?  I thought so too!!

Supplies needed: big old plastic bag (free), foam wreath ($1), and a bag of plastic spiders ($4).  Thank you Target dollar section!!

Here’s how it was made:

From a distance the spiders give it a lace-like quality that is quite pretty.  I decided to hang direct on a nail vs. adding a bow, loop, etc. to keep it simple.  I attempted a couple of options but they distracted from the spiders in my opinion.

What’s better than crafting???  Crafting with a lovely little lady.  Miss Silly helped with the gluing while the “littles” napped this afternoon…that is until she confiscated the left-over spiders to do a Strawberry-Shortcake-meets-scary-black-spiders extended play.

Any last minute projects on your end?

Thanks for taking a look – ONE MORE NIGHT!!!

Blue Skies & Blessing,

Lindsey
